Giving Revenue Service - GRS

Taxes are filed for another year. Whew! Always glad to get that one "in the bag."
Anyway, in the midst of the angst, I had an idea. Guess you could call it my escape plan from the moment of tax crunch. Instead of the IRS, I'm starting my own GRS - Giving Revenue Service.
Now, the IRS allows a 48.5 cent a mile mileage deduction. If I would pay myself 49 cents a mile for every mile I walk, run, or bikeride, I could see a significant increase in my piggy bank. I could cut out one Starbuck's a week, walk 9 miles (the cost of one Starbuck's), and put that money in my newly designated GRS fund for giving back.
I could get in shape, save on calories, and save some money all in one "fell swoop." I like that! I could give my GRS funds to a tax-exempt cause and have a further IRS write-off, or I could give the money whereever and to whomever I choose as a random act of kindness. Even better!
Hey, I could even get a dog and take her along for the fun!! Now that would be almost-heaven!
